Casata Schino Nobili

Family name, agree as 'birth name', seams to be started 'birth name' as 'Schina'.
Is right to premise that in ancient times the "birth name"could be get lower, in Latin, as for example 'gens, family Schina' (or female concourse as 'casata degli Schini', 'casata Schina', 'family Schino'; or also 'de Schinis, 'degli Schini', 'gli Schini', 'gli Schino').
This kind of approach was in use in ancient time in the Parochial archives or in the Notary archives, etc.. before the '700 century.

So, after this preface, were registrered a "birth name" casata Schina del Piemonte were in Carignano city start to increase since the XIV century ('300) and they were owner of Brillant land in Carignano area; at the end of that century and the begining on next century the "family" Schina have moved to Carignano city and sell the Brillant Castlle.

Monsignor Michele Antonio Schina was Abate of Church in year 1650; Cesare-Giovanni was Priore of Carignano in the year 1780; Giuseppe-Antonio, surgeon major of Hourse Military in year 1708, he did a a big job during the Turin siege and he received from Savoia Duke Vittorio-Amedeo II the autorization to add in his family logo two silver doves one in front the other..
Michele-Antonio, also surgeon major of XIV Ussar Regiment did a big job during the war in Jena and Dresda on the Napoleone I time.
The old logo of SCHINO Family were so composed : in the first half there was a red background with a black eagle with crown with two silver doves one in front the other; inn the second half with a blue background with a star with eight gold rays.

More over in Puglie (a South Italy Land) there was also a Schinoso Family, registrered as Noble of Bisceglie, of Trani and of Molfetta in Bari area.
We do not know is this Family is coming from Piemonte area.

Those info are coming from Accademia Italiana D' Araldica.
